Frequently Asked Questions

Booking a dietitian

How much does it cost to see a dietitian on Thrivhe?

A consultation with a verified dietitian on Thrivhe costs ₦10,000, or $10 from outside Nigeria, for a private 45-minute online session. You pay once per session; there is no subscription. The price is shown before you pay, and payment is handled securely by Flutterwave.

How do I book a dietitian online?

Go to thrivhe.com/book-dietitian or open the Thrivhe app, enter your details, pick a date and time that suits you, and pay. Your dietitian will meet you online at the booked time. You can book from anywhere in the world.

What happens during a consultation?

Your dietitian asks about your health goals, what you usually eat, your routine and your budget. Together you agree on practical changes, and you get a personalised meal plan built around Nigerian foods you already eat. Sessions last 45 minutes and are private and confidential.

Can a dietitian help with diabetes, high blood pressure, PCOS or pregnancy?

Yes. Our dietitians support people with nutrition needs such as blood sugar, blood pressure, cholesterol, PCOS, pregnancy and weight goals. They work alongside your doctor's care, not instead of it, and any change to your medication is always your doctor's decision.

Do I need a doctor's referral to see a dietitian?

No. You can book a Thrivhe dietitian directly, without a referral. If you are under a doctor's care for a medical condition, let your dietitian know and bring any recent test results to your session so they can plan safely alongside your doctor.

Can I reschedule or cancel my booking?

Yes. Contact support@thrivhe.com at least 24 hours before your session to move it to another time.

The Thrivhe app

Is the Thrivhe app free?

Yes. The Thrivhe app is free to download and use on Android and iOS. You only pay if you choose to book a consultation with a dietitian.

What does the Thrivhe app do?

The app creates a personalised meal plan using Nigerian foods such as beans, eba, plantain and egusi, adjusted to your goals, food preferences and budget. It also shows healthier versions of everyday meals and helps you track your progress.

Can I lose weight with a Nigerian meal plan?
